2011 Research Symposium

The sixth annual symposium was held on October 25th, 2011, at Harvard Medical School in Boston.  At the meeting, the Consortium announced a new partnership with the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI).

The Symposium gave scientists, clinicians, advocates and families an opportunity to gather and to hear about new vision for treatment, recent research including the latest on genetics of autism and their implications for diagnosis, care and treatment of people with autism spectrum disorders. The 2011 Symposium set a new high record for attendance, with more than 500 attendees.
